My name is Angel Dumoulin KPA CTP.  I am the owner/operator of Funny Farm K9 Coaching and a Certified Dog Trainer Professional Graduate from the Karen Pryor Academy.  I am a huge advocate for force free, fear free animal training.  I work very hard at staying current on humane handling and training techniques for animals, especially dogs. Education is extremely important to me so I am very careful which types of certifications I work toward as well as the professionals I choose to support in my field. I love everyone but I support the best at force free, fear free training. 

  I love dogs and will talk about them at length to anyone who dares come near me.  I have spent my entire life working with animals to some degree and am going on 20 years as a professional dog trainer. Animals can happily be taught everything we need them to know in life, there is no reason to force them into submission.  I have worked with kids, horses, gerbils, hamsters, fish, goats, and dogs.  I dare you to put a shock collar on a betta fish 😉 Positive reinforcement is for everyone!  Below is listed some of my accomplishments before I moved to the fine city of Medicine Hat.  My mission in life is to help as many dogs (and their humans) live a long, healthy, happy life together.

• studied, and practiced science-based dog training for 20 years and have taught numerous puppy and dog training classes
• Owned and operated a retail dog store with our own bakery, doggy daycare and training facility
• have been a Volunteer foster home for SPCA/ Humane society
• served as volunteer board member of local non-profit dog club, Top Dog (Prince George)
• completed the Pet Value (USC Davis) training program for small animal, fish and Herptile, feline, and Canine care and nutrition
• completed the Healthy Pets Program from Bone and Biscuit
• completed the Petcurean University Nutrition program, All levels
• completed two Dunbar academy programs in canine behavior
• continue to stay current through several online programs in canine behavior and nutrition hosted by Kathy Sdao, Ian Dunbar, Jean Donaldson, Bob Baily, Karen Pryor, Absolute Dogs, and others
• Graduate of Karen Pryor Academy, Dog Trainer Professional Certification
• continue to upgrade my skills and knowledge through many programs in canine behavior and Nutrition

I have had much personal success with 6 different canine teammates in Agility, Rally, Conformation, Obedience, Nosework, Dock Diving, and various Trick Training Titles
